I finally got some pictures together to create a bit of a house tour. I admit it is my favourite page on other’s blogs so I have always wanted to put one together for ours.
Some of these pictures are quite old but I will update them here as I can. I have put them in the order that you would see as you come into the house. I hope to add a floor plan to this page someday soon as well.
Entry & Hall
The only pictures I have of this area currently is one from Hallowe’en and two from when we first moved in. I will do an update on this area soon.
I don’t have any pictures of this area right now. It is tiny and hard to photograph but I will do it.
I have done a few small updates in the laundry room/mud room and plan to possibly freshen up this room later in the summer.
My dining room feels pretty finished. I sometimes get the urge to paint stripes on the curtains or change them out for patterned ones, but then I realize as great as that would look in pictures, I enjoy the calmness how this room looks now.
Our living room is pretty much done although I do still have a few little things I would like to tackle but so far, I am loving the new touches.
Some of these kitchen pictures are old because they have the bamboo blinds in them. We now have slat blinds. I am considering painting that dark a different colour as well.
Why we switched out our bamboo blinds »
The master bedroom is one of my favourite rooms in the house. It is definitely my haven whether it is summer or winter. I love the cozy colour, the big windows.
The master bathroom has pretty much stayed exactly like this since I finished. I love how bright and airy it looks and wouldn’t change a thing about it.
Little Miss’s room RARELY looks like this (she tends to be an every-toy-out type of player) but I still love the pink and the lace and all the details.
I still can’t believe that Little Man’s room is fit for a pre-teen. He is growing up way too fast.
The kids’ bathroom was one of those rooms that I got completely wrong before I got it right. But finally after I kept going, it is one of my favourite rooms in the house (at least when the sink isn’t covered in toothpaste!)
Basement TV Room
This room also has a few more details added to it that I haven’t photographed yet. But it is well used and stays pretty tidy which is always a win/win in my books.
Basement Guest Room
The guest room makes me happy now that it is done. I love how easy it is to have ready for company. Although I do miss that chair in the living room.
I don’t have any pictures of this area right now. I have a few small updates to do and will photograph it soon.
I still love my office. This room is always changing. Just in small ways with more art and treasures up on the wall. This is my happy place even when I am working.
Well, that is my house as it stands right now. Hope you enjoy! 🙂
